Job summary

Neta Care Holistic Health Services in Brisbane is seeking motivated Support Professionals to assist clients with daily living, mobility, and community engagement. You will deliver dignified in-home support and participate in community-based activities, promoting independence and wellbeing.

Ideal candidates have relevant disability support experience, a current Driver’s Licence, and knowledge of NDIS processes. A compassionate, energetic approach and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing disability support and personal care.
• Knowledge of NDIS systems and documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to engage with individuals and families in community settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist people to live as independently as possible in their own home and in the community, remove barriers and engage in a full life.
• Personal care including continence care, mealtime management, helping people shower, getting dressed and performing daily activities, laundry etc.
• Assisting with light housework;
• Providing social support to people with disabilities and people experiencing mental health;
• Assist people with physical and psycho-social disabilities to remain independent in their own homes;
• Supporting clients to appointments in the community.
• Providing therapy assistance to support the implementation of physical, speech, OT and psychological plans and strategies (as directed by their allied health teams)
• Supporting people to develop and build self-confidence;
• Reviewing and updating care support plans
