Newly By Healthcarelink Support in Queensland is seeking a caring PersonalCare/Support Worker to assist clients in their own homes across the local community. You will support with everyday tasks, transportation, and social engagement to help clients live independently.

You will need an English fluency, a valid Australian driver's licence with a reliable vehicle, and up-to-date CPR and First Aid certifications. A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and a police check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English and willing to provide weekly social support in a group setting.
• Hold an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and have a reliable vehicle with Third Party Property Damage Insurance.
• Excellent communication, resilience and patience; proficient with smartphone apps and email.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check is required to work with NDIS clients.
• Current police check clearance and CPR/First Aid certifications are required.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with household tasks such as cleaning, showering, dressing and meal preparation.
• Provide continence support, medication assistance and transport as needed.
• Develop genuine connections with clients to support their independence and wellbeing.
• Support weekly social activities in group/community settings.
