Job summary

Sharp and Carter is partnering with a national healthcare organisation to recruit a Community Physiotherapist to support home-based services across Manly. You’ll deliver person-centred rehabilitation with clinical autonomy, while receiving genuine support from a collaborative clinical team.

You'll assess clients in their homes, design tailored exercise programs, focus on falls prevention and independence, and contribute to prevention and reablement in the community.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
• Current Australian driver's licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine interest in rehabilitation and community-based care.
• Confidence working autonomously while remaining connected to a broader clinical team.
• Good organisation and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Completing Physiotherapy assessments within clients’ homes.
• Developing individualised rehabilitation and exercise programs.
• Supporting clients to improve strength, mobility, balance and function.
• Falls prevention and mobility strategies.
• Supporting clients following illness, injury or hospital admission.
• Helping older Australians maintain their independence and remain living safely at home.
• Monitoring client progress and adapting treatment plans accordingly.
• Working collaboratively with nurses, care partners and other Allied Health professionals.
