Job summary

Sharp & Carter partners with a leading national healthcare organisation to recruit a Community Physiotherapist to deliver home-based care in the Manly area.

You will have clinical autonomy with support from senior clinicians, flexible full-time or part-time roles, and a focus on prevention and reablement for clients in their own homes. If you are passionate about rehabilitation and working in the community, apply to join a growing team.

Qualifications

• Must be an AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to own vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine interest in rehabilitation and community-based care.
• Confidence working autonomously while remaining connected to a clinical team.
• Good organisation and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Completing in-home physiotherapy assessments.
• Developing individualized rehabilitation and exercise programs.
• Supporting clients to improve strength, mobility, balance and function.
• Falls prevention and mobility strategies.
• Supporting clients following illness, injury or hospital admission.
• Helping older Australians maintain independence at home.
• Monitoring client progress and adapting treatment plans.
• Collaborating with nurses, care partners and other Allied Health professionals.
