Job summary

Hall & Prior Aged Care Group is seeking a Service Manager to lead a team of technicians and support staff in Melbourne, VIC. You will oversee repair, maintenance and warranty work, ensuring safety, quality, and timely post‑sale support to retain customers.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will drive KPIs, schedule work, manage quotes and grow service revenue. A strong technical background and leadership style are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a service management or team leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of hoisting equipment or related industrial products (highly desirable).
• Experience with WHS compliance and safety-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warranty claims process and liaise with suppliers/manufacturers.
• Report on team KPIs, job completion, warranty metrics and feedback.
• Lead and develop the service team (technicians and staff).
• Oversee daily service operations, scheduling, prioritisation and allocation.
• Maintain WHS standards and safety briefings.
• Escalate complex customer issues and build relationships with key customers.
• Prepare service quotes and grow service revenue via maintenance agreements.
