Our Lady of Mercy College Parramatta invites an experienced History Teacher to join our girls’ Catholic college on a full-time two-term contract commencing Term 1, 2027. The successful applicant will deliver syllabus-aligned History lessons for NSW Stages 4–5 and support student growth within the Mercy tradition.

Candidates must hold NSW teaching qualifications, NESA accreditation, and a current Working with Children Check, and be ready to participate in college life and co-curricular

Our Lady of Mercy College is seeking an experienced and passionate History Teacher to join our College on a full-time, two-term contract commencing in Term 1, 2027.

This full-time, two-term contract for Terms 1 and 2, 2027 is ideal for an educator with experience in Stages 4-5 History who is eager to inspire curiosity, deliver engaging, syllabus-aligned lessons, and provide constructive feedback that supports student reflection and growth. • Relevant tertiary qualifications to teach History in NSW.
• Experience teaching Stages 4 - 5 History.
• Capacity to critically reflect and adjust teaching practice to improve learning outcomes.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, administrative, organisational and collaborative working skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to the teaching requirements of the College.

• Willingness to participate in the co-curricular life of the College (noting that there are no regular weekend sporting commitments).
• Hold a current Working with Children Check number.
• Have appropriate NESA accreditation.
