Job summary

Our Lady of Mercy College Parramatta invites an experienced History Teacher to join our girls’ Catholic college on a full-time two-term contract commencing Term 1, 2027. The successful applicant will deliver syllabus-aligned History lessons for NSW Stages 4–5 and support student growth within the Mercy tradition.

Candidates must hold NSW teaching qualifications, NESA accreditation, and a current Working with Children Check, and be ready to participate in college life and co-curricular

Qualifications

• Must hold NSW teaching qualifications.
• Experience teaching Stages 4-5 History.
• Capacity to reflect on practice to improve learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver syllabus-aligned History lessons for NSW Stages 4–5.
• Provide constructive feedback to support student growth.
• Promote Catholic identity and Mercy values in school life.
• Collaborate with staff and participate in co-curricular life.
