Job summary

Flinders University is seeking a Recruitment Officer (Higher Education Officer Level 5) for a 6‑month fixed-term role based at Bedford Park. You will support end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and stakeholder liaison, helping the university attract diverse talent.

The ideal candidate has strong administrative experience, attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines, with exposure to HRIS systems such as Workday.

Qualifications

• Proven administrative experience with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple and competing tasks at once and meet deadlines.
• Experience in HR/Recruitment support or customer liaison role is desirable.
• Exposure to Workday or other HRIS/Recruitment platforms is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment processes and ensure timely support to hiring managers.
• Promote equitable and inclusive hiring practices and candidate experience.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and maintain accurate recruitment records.
• Collaborate with the HR/People and Culture team to optimise processes.
