Flinders University is seeking a Recruitment Officer (Higher Education Officer Level 5) for a 6‑month fixed-term role based at Bedford Park. You will support end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and stakeholder liaison, helping the university attract diverse talent.
The ideal candidate has strong administrative experience, attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines, with exposure to HRIS systems such as Workday.

This role is ideal for someone transitioning from a fast-paced customer-facing or administrative background (e.g. retail, hospitality, reception) into a People and Culture environment, and could be your next career move! Please note: This role is offered on a fixed-term basis, however, there may be an opportunity to transition to a continuing position, subject to organisational requirements.
You are a team player, forward thinker and always looking for ways to improve. Collaboration and communication will be key to your success along with a commitment to the delivery of excellent customer service and the ability to problem solve and work through new ways of doing things. Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar HR/Recruitment support or customer liaison role, work well with HR/CRM software, have good attention to detail and be able to prioritise multiple deadlines easily. Exposure to Workday or other HRIS/Recruitment platforms is desirable. Critical to success in this role are:

Appointment to this role is conditional on the completion of required pre-employment checks and declarations, each of which must be satisfactory to the University. This includes: Flinders University will require a current completed Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and Gender Based Violence Declaration which is satisfactory to the University.
