Madison Recruitment in Whakatāne is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join a busy national organisation. You’ll manage high-volume supplier invoices through a centralised inbox, coordinate with site-based administrators across New Zealand, and help ensure payments are processed accurately and on time, while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll contribute to a systems transformation project, drive continuous improvement within the finance

Qualificações

• Previous Accounts Payable experience in a busy environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills with formulas and lookups.
• Experience with ERP systems (Pronto advantageous).

Responsabilidades

• Processing supplier invoices and payments.
• Managing a centralised accounts payable inbox.
• Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders nationwide to confirm approvals and prioritise payments.
• Assisting with weekly and monthly payment runs.
• Maintaining accurate supplier records and account reconciliations.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
• Contributing positively to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
