Job summary

South32 Group Operations Pty. Ltd. is seeking a permanent HV Electrical Maintenance role located in Western Australia.

The position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, based at the Worsley Refinery near Collie. The role covers maintenance across the Refinery, Mine and Port facilities to support a reliable, low-carbon future. Reporting to the HV Electrical Supervisor, you will perform high voltage maintenance, read schematics, execute inspections and oil sampling, and ensure safe, efficient

Qualifications

• Proven experience in High Voltage electrical maintenance in large-scale operations.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive safety approach.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team.
• Familiarity with SAP work processes, including work orders and data management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair high voltage circuit breakers, contactors and switchgear.
• Conduct inspections, testing, servicing, and oil sampling of power transformers.
• Diagnose and repair HV and LV electrical assets safely and efficiently.
• Program and test high voltage protection relays.
