Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking high voltage operators and high voltage maintenance technicians to support our services team for high voltage switching and maintenance across projects.

Candidates actively developing skills within high‑voltage networks are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification required.
• HV switching qualification preferred.
• General Induction - White Card required.
• NSW Drivers License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks on high voltage equipment.
• Testing and commissioning of primary plant - CTs, VTs, switchgear, transformers and HV cables.
• Testing and commissioning secondary systems such as protection relays.
• Perform high voltage operating work on 11kV - 33kV networks.

What you will bring

Ideal candidates will have qualifications and experience including:

• Electrical trade qualification: Cert III Electrotechnology or ESI Lineworker/Cable Jointer
• High Voltage Switching qualification
• General Induction - White Card
• NSW Drivers License
• Experience with maintaining HV equipment

Potential to train and upskill successful applicants in:

• Performing maintenance tasks on high voltage equipment
• Testing and commissioning of primary plant - CTs, VTs, switchgear, transformers and HV cables
• Testing and commissioning secondary systems such as protection relays
• Performing High Voltage operating work on extensive networks 11kV - 33kV
