Job summary

EPSA is seeking a skilled HV Electrician to maintain and troubleshoot A/C and electrical systems on heavy vehicles at our site. The role is full-time with a focus on safety, compliance and quality maintenance in collaboration with maintenance crews.

You will contribute to reliability and performance, perform repairs to manufacturer specs, and support continuous improvement in a dynamic, family-owned environment with roster options.

Qualifications

• Current S11 certification.
• Current Australian Drivers Licence.
• Electrical Trade Qualification (HV Electrician).
• High Voltage switching ticket.
• Experience with diesel electric haul trucks is essential, preferably Komatsu.
• Experience with mobile plant equipment.
• Strong diagnostic, fault finding and preventative maintenance skills.
• Capable of reading and understanding parts manuals.
• Team player mentality with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to health, safety, quality and environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain A/C systems in heavy vehicles.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Improve safety values and performance.
• Carry out repairs and servicing per manufacturer specs.
• Ensure tools and equipment are kept serviceable and returned after shift.
• Ensure repairs/services follow manufacturer specs.
• Complete allocated work safely within timeframes and quality level.
• Coordinate with maintenance crews to follow maintenance plan.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and legislation.
• Support maintenance supervisors to ensure asset availability and reliability.
• Allocate resources to meet targets and schedules.
