Job summary

Sekisui House Australia is seeking a proactive Building Manager to own day-to-day operations, safety, compliance, and maintenance for a premium residential high-rise. You will coordinate with Body Corporate, residents, and contractors to ensure the building is safe, secure, and presented to the highest standard.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in residential high-rise building maintenance and facilities management.
• Solid knowledge of Body Corporate legislation and management rights assets.
• Strong technical understanding of plant and equipment for high-rise construction.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Highly organized administration with attention to detail and strong numeracy/written abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Familiarity with Gallagher access control, Myob and CCTV systems.
• Professional presentation in a customer-facing role.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, safety, compliance, and maintenance for a premium residential high-rise.
• Direct and supervise on-site contractors for services including waste management, cleaning, and landscaping; ensure warranties and compliance standards are met.
• Manage quotes and invoice workflows, maintain key registers and logbooks, and prepare operational reports for Body Corporate meetings.
• Coordinate move-in/move-out logistics for owners and tenants; assist sales/marketing teams with Customer Care and settlements.
• Ensure the property is safe and well-controlled, escalate risk issues, and participate in after-hours emergency coverage with another caretaker.
