Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group is seeking experienced High Reach Forklift Drivers for a client in Lidcombe. The role offers morning or afternoon shifts with potential for long-term employment. Key duties include safe operation of High Reach Forklifts, stock putaways, RF scanning, and general warehouse tasks.

Successful candidates will have 12 months of forklift experience, a current LF licence, attention to safety, and the ability to work independently or in a team within a busy distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
• Minimum 12 months operating High Reach Forklifts.
• Current Forklift Licence (LF) is required.
• Strong attention to detail and safety focus.
• Experience using RF scanners and WMS is preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate High Reach Forklifts safely in a busy warehouse.
• Perform putaways and stock replenishment.
• Load and unload trucks following safety procedures.
• Conduct RF scanning to track inventory movements.
• Assist with voice-picking tasks when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Chandler Macleod is currently seeking experienced High Reach Forklift Drivers to join one of our valued clients based in Lidcombe

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established warehouse and distribution operation that values safety, teamwork, and reliability.

We have openings for both morning or afternoon shift roster, with the potential for long-term and ongoing employment opportunities for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

As a High Reach Forklift Driver, you will play a vital role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations. Your duties will include:

• Operating High Reach Forklifts safely and efficiently within a busy warehouse environment


• Performing putaways and replenishment of stock into racking systems


• Loading and unloading trucks in accordance with safety procedures


• Conducting RF scanning to accurately track inventory movements


• Completing general warehouse duties as required


• Assisting with voice-picking tasks when necessary


• Operating material handling equipment (MHE), including ride-on pallet jacks


• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment


• Following site safety policies and operational procedures at all times

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Previous experience working within a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment


• A minimum of 12 months' experience operating High Reach Forklifts


• A current and valid Forklift Licence (LF)


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety


• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred


• The ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Reliable transport and punctual attendance


• Availability to work Monday to Friday, up to 8-hour shifts
