Job summary

The NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) Endurance Cycling Coach role delivers high-performance coaching for scholarship athletes across road, track, para and mountain bike disciplines. You will plan, coordinate and run day-to-day activities, collaborating with mentors and network coaches to progress athletes toward national teams and international competition.

You will apply periodised planning, performance support, and relationship-building with athletes, coaches and parents to optimise development

Qualifications

• Successful campaign delivery at a State/National level.
• Experience with devising and executing a long-term periodised plan to guide the development of pre-emerging / talent / emerging international athletes.
• Experience working in international / domestic high performance sport environments, developing high potential performers into potential podium / podium performers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver day-to-day activities of the NSWIS Endurance Cycling Program.
• Coordinate integrated performance support and coaching.
• Support athlete progression and selection into national teams and high performance pathways.
