Job summary

Australian Athletics is seeking a dynamic leader to cover a 9-month parental leave as a 0.6 FTE role (3 days/week). You will lead and develop our Performance Coach Developers, partner with the AIS Performance Coaching program, and drive Event Group Panels to shape technical and tactical excellence nationwide.

You’ll bring international-level High Performance coaching experience, a proven ability to lead under pressure, and strong stakeholder relationships to support coaches and athletes toward

Qualifications

• A natural leader who can get inside a coach’s head and build systems to help them win.
• Experience leading people to deliver under pressure in dynamic environments.
• Strong organisational and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to clean sport and AA’s Integrity Framework.

Responsibilities

• Equip Able Body and Para coaches with skills, resources and support.
• Strengthen ties with the AIS to accelerate coach development nationally.
• Lead Event Group Panels to sharpen technical and tactical models.
• Bring a coach’s-eye view to High Performance projects across AA.
• Identify and bring world-leading innovations to Australian coaches and athletes.
