Job summary

The NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) is seeking a Para Unit Talent Identification & Development Advisor to lead identification, recruitment and development of para athletes, aligning interests with sport pathways and scholarship opportunities across NSWIS and partner networks.

This full-time role offers the salary shown and requires working with diverse communities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and people with disability, with a focus on continuous improvement and high-performance

Qualifications

Experience leading talent-identification and development strategies across daily performance and competition environments.
Ability to build and maintain partnerships to support athlete progression from identification to high performance.
Experience with implementing monitoring systems for tracking athlete development.
Strong written and verbal communications based on analytical research.

Responsibilities

Lead the identification, recruitment and development of Para athletes across sports.
Collaborate with NSOs/NSODs, SSOs, regional academies and PA to expand Para pathways.
Develop and implement programs to support athlete development and scholarship opportunities.
