Job summary

Platypus Shoes Liverpool is seeking a Store Manager to lead a passionate casual team alongside the Assistant Store Manager. You will drive sales, coach staff, and deliver an outstanding customer experience in a high-profile retail setting.

You will work closely with the Area Manager to identify growth opportunities while maintaining visual merchandising and operational excellence. A focus on training, succession planning, and customer satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a high-volume retail environment.
• Strong leadership qualities with a results-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by achieving sales targets, KPIs and visual standards.
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding sales and customer service.
• Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales, celebrate wins and identify improvements.
• Manage rosters and wage costs in line with targets and operations.
• Coach and develop team members with training and high morale.
• Oversee stock levels, store presentation and operational excellence.
• Ensure adherence to OH&S standards and legislation.
