Platypus Shoes Liverpool is seeking a Store Manager to lead a high‑volume retail team and drive sales, KPIs, and customer experience. You will work with the Area Manager to identify growth opportunities and maintain visual merchandising standards.

You\'ll coach and develop your team, oversee stock, rosters, and store operations while ensuring OH&S compliance. This role offers a dynamic, customer‑facing environment with opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a high‑volume retail environment.
• Strong leadership qualities with a results‑focused and proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and team development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales and manage store performance.
• Experience with stock management, operations, and visual merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Drive the overall performance of your store by achieving sales targets, KPIs, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
• Lead and motivate your team to deliver outstanding results in sales and customer service.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales, celebrating wins and identifying areas for improvement.
• Manage rosters and wage costs in line with company targets and operational needs.
• Coach and develop team members, ensuring ongoing training, high morale, and strong succession planning.
• Oversee stock levels, store presentation, and operational excellence.
• Ensure adherence to OH&S standards and legislation.
