Job summary

Platypus Shoes Hay St in Perth is seeking an Assistant Manager to work alongside the Store Manager and lead a casual team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will drive sales, coach staff, and foster an energetic store culture focused on exceptional customer service.

You will develop leadership skills while supervising rosters, stock, and visual merchandising, ensuring OH&S compliance and operational excellence across the store.

Qualifications

• Senior casual/3IC or supervisor experience in a high-volume retail
• Proven ability to lead a team and deliver sales/KPIs
• Hands-on leadership with proactive mindset

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in driving store performance to meet sales targets and KPIs
• Motivate and mentor team to deliver exceptional customer service
• Manage rosters and wage spend in line with targets and efficiency
• Oversee stock levels, visual merchandising and shrinkage control
• Ensure OH&S compliance and store operations excellence
