Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies informed by how students learn.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data for feedback.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with staff, students and families.
• Commitment to reflecting on practice and pursuing professional learning to improve teaching.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students to achieve learning outcomes.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
