Surf Coast Secondary College in Victoria is seeking classroom teachers for Range 1 and Range 2 to plan, prepare and deliver programs that achieve targeted student outcomes. The role involves direct instruction, reflection and collaboration to improve teaching practice and student learning.

Successful applicants will engage in data-informed decision making, mentoring other teachers and contributing to school policies aligned with strategic priorities.

Formación

• Knowledge of the curriculum with ability to integrate literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies guided by how students learn.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning using data.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with parents and staff.
• Commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional learning.

Responsabilidades

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Supervise and train one or more student teachers.
