Ballarat North Primary School in Ballarat is seeking a qualified classroom teacher. The role centers on planning, preparation and delivering programs to achieve targeted student outcomes, with responsibilities spanning Range 1 and Range 2 classifications and potential rostered duties beyond teaching.

You will use student data to inform teaching, model high-quality practice, mentor staff and engage with families to support wellbeing, learning and engagement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to respond to student needs.
• Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning impact.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform teaching.

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum within the school.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
