Job summary

Fyfe is seeking a Heritage Consultant to join our Brisbane team. You will work on heritage assessments, site investigations and technical reports for renewable energy, transmission, infrastructure and development projects.

You will manage heritage projects end-to-end, engage with Traditional Owners and stakeholders, and contribute to proposals that support team growth while upholding high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level qualification in Heritage, Archaeology, Anthropology, History or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering heritage projects in a consulting environment.
• Sound knowledge of Queensland heritage legislation, cultural heritage management and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong report writing, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver heritage assessments, site investigations and technical reports across energy, infrastructure and development projects.
• Manage heritage projects from initiation to completion within time and budget constraints.
• Participate in fieldwork, archaeological investigations and heritage assessments to support delivery.
• Build strong relationships with clients, Traditional Owners, government agencies and stakeholders.
• Prepare fee proposals and contribute to tender submissions to support growth.
• Collaborate with environmental scientists, planners and engineers to deliver integrated project outcomes.

As a Heritage Consultant with Fyfe, you'll join a collaborative and growing team delivering heritage services across renewable energy, transmission, infrastructure and development projects. Based in Brisbane, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of projects, helping clients navigate heritage considerations while protecting and preserving cultural heritage values.
