Job summary

Truck Tech in Sydney is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician / Diesel Mechanic to join our Chipping Norton workshop on day shift. You will service, diagnose and repair heavy trucks, trailers and related equipment, with a focus on quality workmanship and reliability.

We offer a competitive hourly rate for experience, ongoing technical training and clear career progression into Senior Tech and Leading Hand roles. Permanent full-time position with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Heavy vehicle mechanical experience.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Current driver’s licence.
• A good attitude and pride in workmanship.

The Work

No two days are exactly the same. You’ll be working across trucks, trailers and heavy vehicles carrying out:

• Servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• Mechanical and electrical repairs

• Major and minor repairs
• General heavy vehicle maintenance

What You'll Need
