Job summary

RGM Maintenance is seeking a motivated Spare Parts Interpreter to join our team in Paget (Mackay), Queensland. This permanent, full-time role supports operations by efficiently supplying automotive spare parts and improving customer satisfaction through strong product knowledge.

Responsibilities include assisting retail customers, sourcing parts for heavy vehicles, managing parts flow to the workshop, and liaising with suppliers to source required parts. A current driver's licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting retail customers with parts enquiries.
• Experience using parts catalogues and basic computer systems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver great service.

Responsibilities

• Assisting retail customers with parts enquiries and providing outstanding customer service.
• Identifying and sourcing parts for a wide range of heavy vehicles and equipment.
• Managing the flow of parts to our internal workshop.
• Keeping Workshop Controllers and Service Advisors updated on parts availability and ETAs.
• Liaising with external suppliers to source parts required for repairs.
• Following up outstanding parts and keeping customers and internal teams informed.
• Processing orders, receipting and general parts administration.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring attention to detail across all parts transactions.
