Job summary

City of Ipswich seeks a Heavy Vehicle Operator to support maintenance and construction across roads, drainage and infrastructure. You will operate truck and dog combinations, water trucks and other heavy vehicles, and perform vehicle inspections to keep equipment serviceable.

Qualifications

• A HR Class Drivers licence with HC an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively within a team to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of roads and drainage maintenance operations.
• Safely operate truck and dog, water truck and other heavy vehicles.
• Complete vehicle inspections and maintain equipment in a serviceable condition.
• Contribute to a strong safety culture through hazard reporting.
