SOILCO Pty Ltd in Canberra is seeking a skilled Mechanic/Fitter to join our maintenance team at the Hume workshop, servicing heavy vehicles, mobile plant, trucks and earthmoving equipment.

You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, carry out servicing and rebuilds, attend breakdowns on site and ensure accurate maintenance records while working safely with a team of experienced tradespeople.

Formación

• A recognised mechanical or related trade qualification.
• Sound mechanical aptitude and practical fault-finding ability.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to safe work practices.

Responsabilidades

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles, mobile plant and equipment
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Assisting with major repairs, refurbishments and machinery rebuilds
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out repairs at operational sites
• Supporting preventative maintenance and accurate service records
• Working safely and collaboratively with other tradespeople
