Job summary

The Brown and Hurley Group, located in Yatala, is a leading Australian truck and agricultural equipment dealer. You will diagnose faults and perform service, maintenance, repairs, rebuilds and breakdowns on Kenworth and DAF trucks, while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Heavy vehicle mechanic qualification or other mechanic qualification.
• Works safely, team player, excellent communicator and problem-solver.
• Car licence
• HR and forklift licence (desirable)
• Kenworth or DAF experience (desirable)
• Second to fourth year mechanic apprentices and overseas/interstate truck mechanics welcome.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults on Kenworth/DAF trucks.
• Carry out service, maintenance, repair and rebuild work.
• Check workmanship to manufacturers’ requirements.
• Assist training of apprentices and other workshop personnel.
