Job summary

CMV Truck & Bus Pty is seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle Technicians to join Melbourne North Truck Centre’s workshop service team. You’ll service, repair and diagnose Kenworth and DAF trucks using the latest tools and manufacturer training to build a long‑term career with one of Australia’s most respected brands.

Qualifications

Minimum Certificate III mechanical trade
Experience in heavy vehicle industry
Experience with driveline systems advantageous
Ability to work unsupervised and in a team
Current HC/HR licence advantageous
Own tools

Responsibilities

Repairs, servicing and inspections of engines, gearboxes, brakes, diffs on trucks, buses and trailers
Diagnostic analysis using diagnostic software and equipment
Produce clear reports detailing work and recommendations
Support and guide Apprentice technicians
VicRoads roadworthy inspections
Mechanical, hydraulic, auto electrical and fabrication work
