Shoalhaven City Council is seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to diagnose, repair and maintain a wide fleet of vehicles, plant and equipment at Bomaderry Works Depot. You will perform fault finding across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and air conditioning systems, and undertake field service work as required.

Qualificações

• Dual trade certificate or trade certificate with post trade qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Class C Driver's Licence is required.
• Current NSW RMS Inspection/Proprietor/Nominee Authorisation is required.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, repair and maintain Council's fleet of vehicles, plant and equipment.
• Undertake fault finding and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and air conditioning systems.
• Carry out workshop and field service work across assets and sites.
• Perform welding, fabrication and modification work to support fleet operations.
• Source parts, maintain records and ensure safety and compliance.
• Support, mentor and train apprentices while providing technical guidance.
