Job summary

Select Fleet Service Center in Western Sydney is seeking a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice to join our afternoon shift team. The role involves servicing and repairs on a range of trucks and trailers, with a 5 day week (40 hours) and overtime opportunities negotiable.

You will be enrolled in a Certificate III or IV in Automotive/Mechanical - Heavy Vehicle Road Transport, have workshop experience, and a HC license is favorable.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Certificate III or IV in Automotive/Mechanical - Heavy Vehicle Road Transport.
• Experience in a workshop environment working on various trucks.
• Heavy Vehicle drivers license would be favorable (HC).

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and repairs on various trucks and trailers.
• Complete service records and report on stock consumed.
• Be part of our 24/7 breakdown service.
• Afternoon shift: 5 days, 40 hours with overtime negotiable.

Select Fleet Service Center is a leading heavy vehicle maintenance company based in Western Sydney.

Due to increasing work and growth we are looking for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice to perform Maintenance activities as part of our afternoon shift team.

Key activities of the role include:

5 day week at 40 Hours- Afternoon shift.

Opportunities for overtime also negotiable.

Conduct servicing / repairs on various trucks and trailers make and models.

Ensure maintenance, servicing and repair requirements are met to ensure a safe and road-worthy fleet.

Completing Service Records and reporting on Stock consumed.

Qualifications required:

Experience within a workshop environment working on various trucks.
