Job summary

Coates is seeking a motivated team member for a permanent full-time role at our Hume branch in Canberra. The position follows a Monday to Friday roster, starting at 7am, with attractive hourly rates and overtime as required.

You will be the face of Coates, delivering equipment safely and professionally while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities include loading/unloading equipment with proper restraints, operating tilt trays and related equipment, and keeping

Qualifications

Valid heavy vehicle driver's licence.
Experience loading/unloading equipment with proper restraint.
Clean driving record and commitment to safety.
Reliable customer service skills.
Adequate technology skills.

Responsibilities

Safe, professional and timely delivery/pick up of equipment to/from site locations.
Secure freight loads to ensure successful delivery.
Maintain knowledge of equipment storage/location for efficient retrieval.
Operate equipment on/off a tilt tray (e.g., boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts).
Perform general yard duties to keep an organized and safe yard.
