Job summary

• Interest in vehicles and mechanics with a hands-on approach.
• Motivation and willingness to learn in a hands-on apprenticeship.
• Reliability and good attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills. Possession of a current driver’s licence; ability to obtain a Heavy Rigid licence.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buses and carry out servicing.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on buses.
• Maintain and repair engines, transmissions and suspension systems.
• Work with braking, fuel systems and other vehicle components.
• Follow safe workshop practices and maintenance procedures.
