Responsibilities

• Heavy vehicle trailer body building and fabrication.
• MIG welding, general welding for both steel and aluminium fabrication.
• Fitting and assembly of trailer components.
• Trailer repairs and modifications.
• Hydraulic and mechanical fitting work.
• Tarp fitting and repairs.
• Tailgate and trailer body assembly.
• General maintenance and repair work.
• Reading and working from drawings.
• Working safely and maintaining a clean, organised workshop.

Job description

This is a hands-on role suited to a tradesperson who can confidently work across fabrication, welding, fitting and trailer repairs and is comfortable taking on a variety of jobs.
