Job summary

The Shire of Esperance is seeking a Heavy Plant Operator Grader - Rural Maintenance to deliver high standard roads and infrastructure for residents of the Shire.

You will supervise a small team, operate graders with limited supervision, and bring at least three years of continuous, competent grader experience in road construction or earthmoving.

• HR class driver’s license.
• Minimum three years continuous and competent experience operating grader.
• Demonstrated experience and skills in road construction /maintenance or earthmoving environment.

About the Job

There is an exciting opportunity within the Asset Operationsteam for a Grader Operator - Rural Maintenance, this position is todeliver high standard roads and infrastructure to the residents ofthe Shire of Esperance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Undertake construction grading operations.
• Perform work with limited supervision and direction.
• Lead and provide direction to a small team of employeesand/or contractors monitoring the quality and standard ofwork.

This is a permanent full time position, working 99 hours perfortnight.

About you

In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you musthave:

• ‘HR’ class driver’s license.
• Minimum three years continuous and competent experienceoperating grader.
• Demonstrated experience and skills in road construction /maintenance or earthmoving environment.

Benefits

Annual Income: $128,021.57 (includingovertime)

Permanent staff are entitled to:

• 5 weeks annual leave per year
• One Rostered Day Off (RDO) every second friday.
