Job summary

Leader Earthworks is seeking an experienced float operator for heavy haulage. The role requires proven history operating heavy equipment with a focus on safety and maintenance. You will report to the Operations Coordinator and work as part of a small, focused team.

This is a full-time position for the right person, with immediate start and competitive rates. Applicants who are reliable, team‑oriented and take pride in equipment will be preferred.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted driver's license.
• White Card/Blue Card WHS induction (White/Blue Card).
• Previous experience in heavy haulage and operating heavy equipment.
• Be able to work as part of a team and autonomously; trustworthy and hard‑working; pride in keeping equipment in good condition.

Responsibilities

Leader Earthworks are currently seeking a experienced float operator

Heavy Haulage

Heavy haulage drivers are highly desirable in the earthmoving industry, we are looking for a very experienced driver to join our growing haulage side, This is a 5-7 day a week position depending on the work load and restrictions at the given time.

At the present time we are not in the position to take on any learner drivers, but hope to be in the future.

About the role:

We are seeking exceptional operators with proven history of operating heavy equipment to a high standard, ensuring your machine is always well maintained and ready for the next working shift.

Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, your main responsibilities will be to operate the relevant piece of equipment to a high and safe standard.

This will be a full time position for the right person.

To be successful you must have:

• Current unrestricted driver's license
• WHS General Construction Induction Certificate (White Card/Blue Card)
• Previous experience working in heavy haulage
• Be able to work as part of a team and autonomously, trustworthy, hard-working and take pride in your work
• take pride in looking after the relevant equipment
