Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems common in heavy machinery.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software specific to heavy equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical service bulletins and repair manuals.
• Physical ability to work on large equipment in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, trucks, and specialized machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain problems.
• Conduct engine overhauls, brake repairs, suspension work, and other major component repairs.
• Read and interpret service manuals , schematics, and diagnostic computer readouts.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance performed and parts used.
