Job summary

Golding is seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Fitter to join the Maintenance team at Jellinbah Mine, near Blackwater. This role focuses on safety, reliability, and performance of mining equipment in a production environment.

The successful candidate will work in a small team, apply hands-on skills, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining a proactive approach to maintenance and safety.

Qualifications

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate.
• Proven heavy mobile earthmoving equipment experience in production mining.
• Experience with Caterpillar equipment desirable.
• Experience with CAT 6060 and Hitachi 5600 excavators desirable.
• Ability to pass Coal Board Medical, Functional Capacity and Drug & Alcohol screen.
• Current Drivers Licence and Standard 11.
• Capacity to work in a team with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of SAP desirable.

• Ensure safety, effectiveness, and dependability of mining operations for the maintenance team.
• Apply hands-on skills in a small, tight-knit team.
• Work with minimal supervision and proactive problem-solving.
• Operate heavy mobile earthmoving equipment as part of maintenance duties.
