Job summary

Olympic Dam is seeking a Heavy Diesel Technician to diagnose faults, perform maintenance, and keep a demanding fleet production-ready.

You will work on a diverse fleet including CAT loaders, haul trucks, graders, dozers, excavators and drills, with a 2:2 roster and a range of site benefits. A Cert III in heavy diesel and mining equipment experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification (Cert III) required.
• Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills.
• Experience on heavy earthmoving equipment (mining experience highly regarded).
• A safety-first mindset and pride in quality workmanship.
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol Screen and Police Check.
• Full Australian Working Rights.

Responsibilities

• From preventative maintenance to diagnostics and major repairs, you’ll play a key role in keeping equipment available, reliable and production ready.
• Maintain and repair CAT loaders/trucks/dozers and other heavy equipment as required.
• Diagnose faults and perform major repairs to keep fleet production-ready.
