Job summary

Western Health in Melbourne's west invites applications for a Digital Health Integration Analyst. You will design, build, test and implement HL7 integration solutions for Cerner EMR and other clinical systems, ensuring safe and efficient workflows that align with business needs.

Work with DTS, EMR project teams and clinical stakeholders to deliver end-to-end integration, monitor interfaces, and maintain system reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience HL7 Integration – Experience developing and supporting HL7 interfaces using Rhapsody in a clinical environment.
• Programming and Databases – Skilled in object-oriented programming, complex SQL queries, and understanding large-scale databases.
• Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills – Ability to work effectively with technical and clinical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear solutions.
• Problem-Solving and Project Delivery – Capable of managing multiple priorities, resolving integration issues, and contributing to project success in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Design robust integration solutions for clinical and administrative systems, including Cerner EMR.
• Maintain and monitor integration environment, ensuring interfaces are online and well-documented.
• Collaborate with application owners, vendors and technical teams to resolve issues and improve reliability.
• Deliver end-to-end integration and support Cerner roadmap.
