Job summary

Compass Group Morrison Living is seeking a Cleaner Team Leader for a permanent, full-time role at our Bundoora facility. You will lead a cleaning team, supervise daily/periodic tasks, and drive hygiene standards across the site.

The role requires training, mentoring, and onboarding staff, with opportunities for development within a supportive, values-driven organization committed to care and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cleaning supervisory role, ideally in healthcare.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse cleaning team.
• Experience managing rosters and coordinating daily operations.
• Competent in managing inventory and waste reduction practices.
• Police check holder (or willing to obtain a police check).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise cleaning teams across daily and periodic tasks.
• Allocate staff duties and manage rosters to ensure service coverage.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Support infection control procedures and specialised cleaning in high-risk areas.
• Train, mentor, and onboard new and existing staff.
