Job summary

Nexus Hospitals Group is seeking a hospital Administration Manager to oversee the smooth running of Westside Private Hospital. You will drive quality, safety, and governance while coordinating with the GM and DON to deliver patient-centred care.

In a collaborative, down-to-earth environment, you’ll lead staff, manage budgets, rostering, procurement and admin processes, and build strong relationships with Visiting Medical Officers, patients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management and team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of health fund contracting and the Australian Private Health System.
• Proficiency in Patient Administration Software (preferably FYDO).
• Strong IT skills (MS Office suite).
• Sound knowledge of medical terminology.
• Commercial acumen with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality and safety improvement: Support the GM & DON with quality and safety activities.
• Support operational performance and efficiency: Assist with financial management, resources, rostering, procurement and administration.
• Lead, mentor and educate: Provide guidance and leadership to the team.
• Keep patient safety central: Maintain clear communication and respond to risks.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships: Engage with Visiting Medical Officers, patients and staff.
• Champion patient-centred care: Promote consistent, compassionate care throughout journeys.
