Job summary

Workwear Group is hiring a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor to join our People, Safety and Sustainability team based in Port Melbourne. You’ll support the delivery of our HSW strategy across a multi-site Australian business, coaching leaders to build strong safety practices and manage injury and claims with a proactive approach.

You will bring practical HSW experience, a commitment to wellbeing, and the ability to influence at all levels. Flexible work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Practical HSW experience across organisations.
• Ability to coach leaders and influence safety culture.
• Knowledge of Australian health and safety legislation and injury management.

Responsibilities

• Support development and delivery of HSW strategy, plan and initiatives.
• Provide practical day-to-day HSW advice to leaders and teams.
• Coach leaders to strengthen safety leadership and reporting quality.
• Support hazard identification, incident investigations and risk management.
• Assist injury and claims management with proactive cost control.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, data quality and HSW processes, including AI as an enabler.
• Coordinate and support HSW systems, training and competency activities.
• Assist with internal and external audits and close out actions.
