Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety, based in Melbourne, seeks a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor to join the People, Safety and Sustainability team in Port Melbourne. The role is hands-on, supporting multi-site operations and driving practical safety actions aligned with the HSW strategy.

You will coach leaders, manage injury processes and drive continuous improvement in safety culture—across operational and non-operational teams within the Australian business.

Qualifikationen

• Tertiary qualifications in health and safety.
• 3–5 years’ WHS and injury management experience.
• Care for the health, safety and wellbeing of others.
• Curiosity and initiative to challenge the status quo.
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of Australian health and safety legislation.
• Experience supporting incident investigations, risk management and audits.
• Facilitation and coaching skills; influencing others.

Aufgaben

• Develop and deliver Workwear Group’s HSW strategy and initiatives.
• Provide practical HSW advice to leaders and teams.
• Coach leaders on safety leadership and risk management.
• Support incident investigations, hazard identification and reporting.
• Assist injury and claims management with proactive cost management.
• Improve reporting data quality and HSW processes; leverage AI where appropriate.
• Coordinate HSW systems, training and competency activities.
• Assist internal and external audits and close out actions.
