Job summary

Amplar Health in Australia seeks an experienced Health Information Manager to establish and lead Health Information Services in a new role. You will implement information processes, improve clinical documentation and coding quality, and support revenue integrity across our services.

This full-time role requires knowledge of ICD-10-AM, ACHI and Australian Coding Standards, plus strong stakeholder engagement and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Health Information Management within an Australian healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-AM, ACHI and Australian Coding Standards.
• Experience in coding audits, revenue integrity and health information governance.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated experience in developing or improving operational processes, controls, reporting and service standards.
• If successful, willing and able to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations.
• Holding a South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or are willing and eligible to obtain).

Responsibilities

A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health Information Manager to establish and lead Health Information Services in a newly created role.

This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, establishing health information processes, improving clinical documentation and coding quality, strengthening compliance, and supporting revenue integrity across our growing services. This position is offered on a full-time basis, with part-time arrangements negotiable for the right candidate.

The role:
