Job summary

Animal Referral Hospital in Brisbane is seeking an experienced ECC Head Nurse to lead our Emergency Vet Nurse team. You will work closely with the Business Manager, Veterinary Director and the GP team to maintain high clinical standards and compassionate patient care in a busy, after-hours environment.

The role requires a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, at least five years' experience in emergency nursing, strong leadership and mentoring skills, and outstanding communication with clients

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience working as a vet nurse.
• ECC nursing experience.
• Confidence in working within a busy hospital setting.
• Team building skills with previous experience leading and/or mentoring a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Availability to work every second weekend advantageous.
