• 5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning.
• 6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy.

In addition to the general selection criteria, Proven ability to use research and data informed practice to initiate and implement programs that improved students learning outcomes.

The school has a mission statement that is at the centre of all processes and practices, "Shaping the future by pursuing excellence and creating boundless opportunities". The school has a trade training centre and a support unit with 4 classes.
