Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking a Manager Workforce Systems and Transactions at Waratah NSW. This temporary full-time role oversees Rostering Support, Best Practice, Rural Health Workforce Incentives, and Staff Establishment teams, ensuring accurate staffing, budgeting and compliant operations.

The role requires leadership, governance understanding, and the ability to drive improvements across a busy health district, while coordinating with Finance, People and Culture, and

Qualifications

• Experience leading workforce, rostering, payroll, finance or transactional service.
• Understanding of workforce governance, financial controls, compliance and audit requirements.
• Ability to connect staffing, establishment, budget and roster data and turn analysis into improvements.
• Clear communication and stakeholder engagement to guide managers through operational detail.

Responsabilités

• Lead Rostering Support and Best Practice, Rural Health Workforce Incentives Scheme and Staff Establishment teams.
• Align staffing profiles, budgeted FTE and HealthRoster demand with managers.
• Promote best-practice rostering and reliable workforce information for payroll inputs and reporting.
• Provide advice to senior stakeholders and influence priorities to meet approvals and audits.
